you must be at least 18 years of age to get a tattoo with us. no exceptions. we also ask that you bring photo id to your tattoo appointment.
this varies depending on the artist, the studio itself has a minimum charge of $100. the final price of your tattoo is dependent on the size, detail of the design, location on the body, and finally which artist you’ve chosen. all artist’s prices differ and all have different hourly rates, so it’s best to include your selected artist on the contact form or email you send, that way we can give you the closest quote possible.
the best way to get an accurate price is by booking a free consultation with the artist you want to work with. if you can’t travel to see them in person, sending a detailed email may help us give you an idea on price. in order for us to quote your idea, we need to consider the subject, size, placement on the body and the amount of detail. we are always more than happy to help get you the information you need, so please don’t hesitate to contact us.
yes we do, as long as our artists are not fully booked for the day and the artist feels comfortable doing your design. the term “walk-in” means walking in off the street and hoping to get an appointment the same day. walk-ins are offered to the first available artist on a first-come, first-served basis. so if you have a preferred artist then it’s best to book in advance with them. we will always do our best to accommodate your request.
yes we do. we offer a free consultation service. each artist is different and has set days and times when they do their consultations. please contact the artist you would like to work with or the studio to arrange a consultation.
consultations are a great opportunity to come in and see the studio, and say hi and meet with your artist in person. please bring along any reference images, even if it’s on your phone, it makes it easier for the artist to see into your mind a little better. From here, your artist will be able to give you an indication of price and dates available.
we advise you to stay away from any direct sunlight, sunbeds or doing any tanning after getting tattooed. as well it is best to avoid saunas, steam rooms and swimming. please leave at least a month in between getting tattooed and going on vacation.
some tattoos take longer to heal than others. it takes at least two to three weeks for your tattoo to “heal”, but it can take months for the skin to fully regenerate. Each artist will give you the information on how to take care of your new tattoo so you know what to do and what not to do.
we accept cash, credit or debit payments.
yes. a deposit is required in order to secure an appointment. deposits are $100 and are refundable up until 2 weeks before your appointment, and as long as the artist has not begun working on your drawing. please let the studio or your artist know if you will be unable to make your appointment as soon as you know you can’t make it. your deposit is applied to the final price of your tattoo.
a deposit holds your appointment with your artist, and ensures you are serious about getting tattooed. If you fail to show up to your appointment then you will automatically lose your deposit. If you cancel within 2 weeks leading up to your appointment, or the day of your appointment, then your deposit will be non-refundable and in order to rebook and will be required pay another deposit.
the best thing you can do is to be well-rested. It also helps to have a big meal and to stay hydrated before your appointment. have a sugar filled drink and snacks on hand just incase you feel faint or dizzy. It’s also best not drink alcohol the night before. alcohol thins the blood for up to 24 hours and can dilute our ink pigments, affecting both the appearance of your tattoo as well as the healing process.
each of our tattoo artists have their own unique style. please make yourself thoroughly acquainted with the artist’s work via the artist portfolio on our website or their instagram before sending us a request. it is important that you have checked out the artist’s work and are happy with your choice. we can always recommend an artist best suited to your idea if you are unsure.
yes we can. some cover ups can be difficult. this means your desired new tattoo design may need tweaking or added elements to make the cover up work. You may also need to seek laser removal for us to do the best job possible, we will recommend the best solution for you. it is best to come in and talk with a member of staff about your options. you can also send us a picture by email if you think it’s small or easy enough for us to figure out, but usually having an in person chat is always best.
we can tattoo over scarred or damaged skin. What matters is that the scar is fully healed. we suggest you seek advice from your doctor if you have severe scarring. please don’t feel embarrassed about showing us your scars, we are not passing judgement we just want to make sure we can tattoo you.
tattoos on fingers and hands are done on a case by case basis and at the artists discretion. It is important to understand that a tattoo on a finger will never look as delicate or refined as hoped. tattoos on fingers tend to heal slightly differently due to the general wear and tear when using your hands. If you still wish to get your fingers tattooed then we are happy to do so, you will be reminded of the risks prior to your tattoo. It’s also important to take into account that some professions don’t allow hand tattoos.
guests are always welcome. please try to limit it to only one or two guests as not to crowd the shop.
if you had your tattoo done with us and think you need a touch up, please let either the artist or the studio know, send along a picture of what you think needs to be touched up and we can then advise you. sometimes it’s easier to come in and show us. if you’ve had the tattoo done elsewhere then we can still fix it up but it would be treated as a new tattoo. we provide one complementary touch up (with the exception of, but not limited to, inner lip, finger, hand, and feet) within the year of you getting the tattoo.
